The jasmine flower harvest season begins in the village of “Shubra Baloula” in mid-April until the end of November, before the start of the winter nights. It needs a moderate climate and low humidity, and many Gharbia people pick it at night, before the dew dries from the flowers, because Gives it weight and natural colour.

It produces 50% of the jasmine paste, which is used in manufacturing the finest perfumes in the world
