Geese (scientific name: Anserini)

Geese are aquatic birds that belong to the Anatidae family. They include the genera of grey geese (Anser), black geese (Branta), and white geese (Chen). Some other birds, mostly related to the genus Alopochen (Egyptian goose), are also associated. The goose genus is considered the most distinct among the members of the Anatidae family, with most species being larger than true geese and ducks, which are generally smaller.
