Protests in Lebanon against Ortagus' statements on Hezbollah

Hezbollah supporters, carrying the group's flags and images of their former leader Hassan Nasrallah, gathered in front of Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport to protest statements made by Morgan Ortagus, the U.S. Deputy Special Envoy for the Middle East, against Hezbollah. Ortagus' remarks came after his meeting with President Joseph Aoun at Baabda Palace in Beirut, Lebanon, on February 7, 2025. Lebanese security forces took precautions in the area.
