This 450-kilometer railway network, operating at speeds up to 300 km/h, drastically reduces travel time, making journeys between these cities fast and efficient. The HHR is not just about speed; it's designed with comfort and convenience in mind. Its modern, sleek trains are equipped with comfortable seating, air conditioning, and facilities for passengers with special needs, ensuring a pleasant journey for all.

This rail system is particularly significant for the millions of pilgrims who visit Makkah and Al-Madinah annually for Hajj and Umrah. It eases their travel, offering a reliable, time-saving option. The stations, architecturally impressive, reflect traditional Islamic designs blended with modern elements. They are equipped with various amenities, including retail and dining options, enhancing the overall travel experience.
