The Sultan Qaitbay Complex in the Mamluk Desert is a renowned historical architectural ensemble in Cairo, built in the Islamic style from the Mamluk era. The complex includes several structures such as a mosque, a madrasa with its annexes, a dome, a water fountain (sabil), a library (kuttab), a seat for the sultan, a trough for watering animals, and quarters for the Sufis.
