Birqash Camel Market (Souq al-Gamaal)

The camel caravan travels from the Darfur plateau in western Sudan to the village of Barqash north of Giza,The journey takes more than 40 days during this journey the caravan passes through many trade points between Wadi Al-Allaqi in the city of Aswan,Kom Ombo and Tahta in Sohag. The camel trade is a historical activity that extends over centuries between Egypt and Sudan.
