The Palestine sunbird is a small passerine bird Found in parts of the Middle East and sub-Saharan Africa, as a symbol of freedom and resilience. The Palestine sunbird was proudly adopted as Palestine’s national bird in 2015 after the occupation attempted and failed to rename the species in a public vote campaign.
