The 20th anniversary of the assassination of Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri was commemorated in front of the Mohammad Al-Amin Mosque in Beirut, Lebanon, on February 14, 2025, with thousands of Lebanese in attendance. The event took place amid internal and regional shifts that have weakened Hezbollah and its supporters, potentially paving the way for Saad Hariri to resume his political activities after suspending them in 2022.  

On Friday, Saad Hariri addressed thousands of his supporters in downtown Beirut, stating that his Future Movement would be their voice in Lebanon’s upcoming political milestones and challenges, marking a potential return to the political scene after three years of inactivity.
