Erbil Citadel is an ancient citadel and fortress located on a hill and the center of the city of Erbil in Iraqi Kurdistan. It serves as the historic center of Erbil in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The citadel has been a World Heritage Site since 21 June 2014.
