The speech of Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, during the opening of the 9th edition of the Aswan International Women Film Festival, held this evening, Friday, May 2, 2025, under the theme "El Sett" — The Umm Kulthum Edition — marking 50 years since the legendary singer’s passing.

The festival runs from Friday, May 2 to Tuesday, May 6, bringing together a constellation of leading Egyptian and Arab stars and artists on Isis Island in Aswan, at the far south of Egypt.
